I’ll stand you a pint! grew up in the Annex& college st and i remember the Italians going nuts banging pots and pans,,watching Socrates..a class act and Zisou ..lots of Boo! Chelsea fans here in LA where i work..(the Yankees of EPL) a ton of xpat tea bags work in the ‘Biz’..Americans are suckers for an accent and assume they must be brilliant ,creative haha..I like Barca and Dortmund & Juventus..my daughter plays midfield and i like midfield maestro teams..your book made me miss T.O. like crazy (my Dad, peter fitting retired from u of t) and sister still lives there in Roncesvelle village (sp) and i’ve been on the campaign to convince the trouble ‘n strife to go to france w/ me and paint le Coq Sportif on our faces! loved the way in these divisive times you showed the humanity of us all! Muslim,Protestant.
